How does having my students order Highlights products benefit me?

You get earn a FREE gift for your classroom just for introducing your class to a Highlights publication. Highlights for Childrens magazines and other products encourage reading, writing and thinking, just for the fun of it. The stories, puzzles and activities help children build important learning skills they can use in school and beyond. Everybody wins!

Why should families choose to order Highlights products through the Highlights Classroom Rewards Program?

Families can take advantage of the exclusive offer available only through the Highlights Classroom Rewards Program and help earn valuable materials for their child’s classroom. Families will appreciate that Highlights products contain no advertising from outside companies, just solid, kid-friendly content from cover to cover.

How can I encourage families to participate in this program?

If you receive a program packet, be sure to send the Take Home Slips home with your students. If you don’t have Take Home Slips, please use the "Share Offer with Families" feature in your classroom dashboard, an easy and fast way to communicate with your students’ families. We recommend sending follow-up communications to encourage participation.

Which Highlights products are offered through the Highlights Classroom Rewards Program?

The 2024-2025 Classroom Rewards Program features the award-winning High Five magazine designed for kids ages 2-6.

How long will it take for my students to receive their orders?

Please allow 5 to 7 weeks from the time the order was placed.

How long will it take to receive my free gift?

Please allow 4 to 6 weeks from the time that we receive your free gift order.

Will I automatically receive the featured gift that was shown in the program materials?

No, you must select it. If you want the featured gift, be sure to write in the item number on your Free Gift Order Form. Or, if you are ordering online, select it when you get to the Pick Free Gift screen. To be eligible for the featured gift, you need a total of at least 6 verified "YES" responses.

What documentation should I keep in case Highlights needs to contact me about my gift or student orders?

If you responded through the mail, we recommend you keep your students' "Yes" responses and a copy of your Free Gift Order Form until you receive your gift. If you entered your orders online, we recommend you keep your students' "YES" and "NO" responses until you receive your gift. If you communicated with parents via email, we recommend you keep “NO” responses until you receive your free gift.

What happens if my selected gift is out of stock?

All free gift orders will be fulfilled while supplies last. If you choose an out-of-stock item, we will ship a gift of equal or greater value.

What should I do if I want to order a subscription for each of my students?

Can I order Highlights or High Five magazines for my classroom?

Yes! We provide a generous discount for orders of 15 magazine subscriptions or more, sent to the same address. Use this form to learn more and submit your order.

How can I find out about other Highlights products?

Are Highlights products and the Highlights Classroom Rewards Program available in Canada?

No, they are currently available only in the U.S.

How can I log into the Highlights Classroom Rewards Dashboard?

Enter Your Teacher ID and Promo Code, supplied in your program packet, on the Highlights Classroom Rewards sign-up screen and follow the prompts.

How can I opt into the Highlights Classroom Rewards program without a program packet from Highlights?

Click on the white “Sign Up” button on the Highlights Classroom Rewards sign-up screen and follow the prompts.

What if I lose my teacher ID and Promo Code for the campaign?

Click on the “Lost your ID?” link on the Highlights Classroom Rewards sign-up screen and follow the prompts. 

How do I enter an order in the Highlights Classroom Rewards dashboard?

You can enter an order on behalf of a student’s family if they have requested you to do so on the paper take home slips. Enter the family-provided information (on the take home slip) into the form on the “YES, Order For Families” screen.

What if I only received “No” responses from my students?

A gift is available for teachers who participate in the Highlights Classroom Rewards Program but do not receive any YESes. 

What if a family indicates they ordered online on the Take Home Slip but I don’t see their order in the Classroom dashboard?

You can enter in a Missing Order under the “YES, Family Ordered Online” section of the classroom dashboard. You will need the Family’s last name and last four digits of the confirmation number to successfully add their order to your total “YES” orders. 

How many times can I enter “Yes” responses?

Come back as often as you need to enter new YES orders before choosing your free gift. 

How many free gifts can I order?

You can order one free gift. 

How will I get credit for orders families place online?

When families order online, they will need to enter in your Teacher ID and School Number. This information is included in the paper take home slips as well as in the “Share Offer with Families” language provided in the Highlights Classrooms Rewards dashboard. 

What happens if I get a Take Home Slip from a student after I’ve ordered my Free Gift?

You can still enter the order, if the family indicates they want you to order on their behalf, but you will not be able to order an additional free gift.
