What gift services are available?

Can I give a subscription as a gift?

Yes. Besides any of our products, you can also gift magazine subscriptions or box subscriptions. To do so, put items in your cart and go to Checkout when you’re ready. At Checkout, in Step 2, Shipping, enter the name and address of the recipient. Then at Step 4, Billing Address, uncheck the box that says “My billing and shipping address are the same.” You’ll then see boxes for entering your own address. After your order is processed, you’ll be able to manage your subscriptions by logging into your account.

Please note that gift subscriptions may have longer shipping times than other products. If you need a gift quickly, you can send a personalized printable announcement in the meantime. The colorful announcements are full-page certificates that measure 8.5″ x 11″.

Do you provide gift wrap service?

We are sorry, but gift wrap is not available at this time.

Does Highlights sell gift certificates?

Although we have a great selection of gifts for kids (and some for adults), we do not offer gift certificates or gift cards at this time.

Can I send a gift subscription to a child in another country?

Unfortunately, we no longer offer magazine subscriptions to any country outside of the US. If you are a current subscriber in Canada, you will still have access to your account to manage or renew your existing subscription. However, you will not be able to add new subscriptions. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Customer Service at 1-800-255-9517.

How will the child know the gift is from me?

For magazine gift orders, the first issue will have your name on the cover as the purchaser. We also have some printable gift announcements online that you can print and personalize for magazines, activity boxes and puzzle club shipments. The colorful announcements are full-page certificates that measure 8.5″ x 11″ . You can see them here.

I am sending gift subscriptions to several children. Will they all be on continuous service?

A subscription will be on continuous service if you responded to an offer online. We try to make this information clear on the promotional offer, as well as in the email confirmation you received with your order.
