Can I give a subscription as a gift?
Yes, you can gift any of our products or subscriptions. Follow these steps to place a gift purchase:
  1. Put items in your cart and go to Checkout when you’re ready.
  2. At Checkout, in Step 2, Shipping, enter the name and address of the recipient.
  3. Then at Step 4, Billing Address, uncheck the box that says “My billing and shipping address are the same.” You’ll then see boxes for entering your billing address.
  4. After your order is processed, you’ll be able to manage your subscriptions by logging into your account.
Does Highlights sell gift cards?

Unfortunately, Highlights doesn’t offer gift cards or gift certificates currently. If you’re not sure what to give, our 2026 gift guide can help! Explore magazines for all ages, board books, puzzle books, sticker books, activity kits, learning and reading subscriptions and more to find a gift every child will love.
How will the child know the gift is from me?
We offer colorful, printable gift announcements to share with the gift recipient. This is also a wonderful way to get the child excited before their Highlights mail arrives.

You can print and personalize these full-page (8.5" x 11") certificates for any gifts including magazines, activity + reading subscriptions and learning boxes.
What is the holiday shipping schedule?
Our holiday shipping schedule lists the latest dates to place your order for delivery by Christmas. Because deadlines vary by product and shipping method, be sure to check the schedule below before placing your order.

What if I missed the shipping cutoff for holiday delivery?
Orders placed after the specified dates and times below cannot be guaranteed for holiday arrival. If your order didn’t make it in time for the holidays, don’t worry — there’s still a way to make the moment special. We offer a free printable gift announcement you can place under the tree or tuck into a stocking.
